Kevin has been a teacher and football coach for forty-eight years. Twenty-six of those years have been spent as a NFL Special Teams Coach. Spencer began his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns as a coaching assistant under Bill Belichick in 1991. While in the NFL, his career has taken him to the Browns, Raiders, Colts, Steelers, Cardinals, Chargers and the Patriots.
During his career, he was part of a Pittsburgh Championship in Super Bowl XL and a Runner Up while with Arizona in Super Bowl XLIII. In 2002, he was recognized as the NFL Special Teams Coach of the Year.
In addition to his NFL experience, Kevin has spent time as a teacher/consultant for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.
Since his return to the Cleveland area, he has coached Special Teams at St Ignatius High School.
